Kilwhiss 365

Managed Microsoft 365 Security

Maintain agreed tenant controls after the initial review and remediation work.

Review scope

What we examine

  • Scheduled security configuration review
  • Privileged-role and guest-access review
  • Secure Score trend and action tracking
  • Policy maintenance within agreed scope
  • Monthly service report
  • Change recommendations and approval record
  • Escalation of material findings
  • Optional lifecycle workflow support

From one-off review to managed control

A tenant review produces findings at a point in time. Managed Microsoft 365 Security provides an agreed cadence for checking selected controls, tracking actions and discussing material changes with the customer. We define the tenant, licences, review frequency, reporting and decision makers in the proposal so the service has clear operational boundaries.

Examples of work in scope may include reviewing privileged roles and guest access, tracking configuration changes and Secure Score trends, maintaining agreed policies and escalating findings that need an owner. The exact activities depend on the accepted service schedule; Microsoft features and licences vary between tenants.

How changes are handled

Recommendations are recorded with their rationale and likely impact. We agree who approves each change, what testing is needed and who can reverse it if the result is not as expected. Work outside the managed scope, including larger remediation projects and new integrations, is quoted separately before implementation.

The monthly report can show the controls reviewed, material findings, decisions and outstanding actions. A review cadence supports accountability, but it cannot prevent every incident or replace an emergency response arrangement.

Scope and handoff

For a Microsoft 365 joiner, mover and leaver process, Kilwhiss 365 can scope the tenant access, approvals and security controls shown in Services & Pricing. If the work needs a wider n8n workflow across HR, ticketing, CRM or other systems, Kilwhiss Automate designs and builds that integration under an agreed project scope. We confirm who owns each system and approval before implementation.

Published pricing starts from £295 per month; final pricing depends on tenant size, licences, systems and the agreed service. This is configuration governance and support, not an unlimited user helpdesk or a 24/7 security operations centre unless explicitly contracted. For end-user helpdesk and device support, see Kilwhiss Support. For an initial baseline, see the Microsoft 365 Security Review.

Managed security questions

Is incident response included?

The proposal must state any incident-related responsibilities and escalation routes. This page does not promise emergency or round-the-clock response.

Who approves tenant changes?

Named customer approvers and the agreed change process are recorded before changes are made. Customer administrators retain appropriate ownership and visibility.

Are licences included in the monthly fee?

Microsoft licences and third-party subscriptions are separate unless the accepted proposal explicitly includes them.
